The Foundation Mission

Moon Gallery Foundation is dedicated to bridging art, science, and space exploration by fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and inspiring humanity’s cultural legacy beyond Earth. Through innovative projects, we aim to create a symbolic yet impactful presence on the Moon, developing a culture for future interplanetary societies. By launching 100 unique artworks to the Moon within a compact 10 x 10 x 1 cm format, Moon Gallery sparks dialogue about the ideas we wish to preserve, promote, and carry into the future.

Our initiatives include organizing workshops, exhibitions, and performances, connecting creative and technological sectors, and integrating art into space missions. We believe that culture is the key to transforming survival into meaningful existence and aim to use space exploration as a way to rethink values for better living on Earth.

To discover more about Moon Gallery Foundation’s objectives, please refer to the Policy Plan Summary.

Moon Gallery Foundation brings art and space exploration together through a dynamic range of initiatives. We organize workshops, exhibitions, and performances that connect creative visionaries with experts from science and technology. Our projects include developing the first permanent art gallery on the Moon, participating in international space missions, and hosting interdisciplinary events that inspire dialogue about humanity’s cultural legacy in the cosmos.

From fostering collaboration to advancing innovative artistic projects tied to the Moon and beyond, our activities reflect our mission to redefine the role of culture in space exploration. An overview of selected activities from 2023 is available in our Activities Report.
