The Moon Gallery is an evolving process—selecting and assembling 100 artworks from 100 artists requires outreach, events, workshops, and exhibitions. Without the conversations that explore the human condition, the artifacts sent to the Moon would be mere objects in space.
The Moon Gallery Foundation, therefore, serves as more than a curator; it is a vessel for education, a catalyst for collaboration, and a platform for bold ideas. In shaping the Moon Gallery, we cultivate the dialogue that gives it significance.
Syzygy is a multi-year cultural initiative by the Moon Gallery Foundation, Improvise and Organize Art Association and CAAA (Centre for Art and Architecture Affairs), uniting partners from Portugal, the Netherlands and Germany. This program will include exhibitions, workshops, artist residencies, and other interdisciplinary events in Guimarães and Aveiro.
